Taking Your Skincare From Summer to Fall

How to Pamper Your Skin

Taking Your skincare From Summer to Fall

You wouldn’t wear snow boots in the summer or walk around in a bathing suit in the winter. Well, you shouldn’t without good reason. But if you change your wardrobe to fit each season, there is another area you should transition when the weather changes. Here is what you should know about seasonal skincare and how to take your skin from the summer to the fall.

Did you Know?

You Should Rotate Products

We all have our favorite serums and moisturizers we love to wear every day, but did you know they should vary from season to season? Transitioning out of summer and into the colder months is important for your skin. From your face to your hands to your legs — you need to switch up your skincare routine, like with adding our Almond & Aloe Lotion all over to lock in moisturizer.

Your skin might look the same, but if you don’t switch out products, you could end up with dry patches or itchy skin. A hand & body lotion to keep each area protected would be key.

Exfoliate = Cleanse & Repair

The Fall is All About Skin Renewal

Your fall skin problems are from a build-up of dead skin cells. In the fall, you are not only battling colder air but have to take care of any effects the summer sun left on your skin.

Exfoliation will be key all autumn since our skin’s process of shedding those dead skin cells slows down due to the change in air. We may love the crisp breeze, but our pores do not.

What products to keep skin healthy in the fall

Must-Have Fall Essentials

In the fall, you want to rely on dense lotions to combat dry air and cold temperatures. A thicker or cream-based formula is better, as it will provide the extra hydration needed.

While we tend to focus on the face and hands, don't forget the details. Pay attention to sensitive areas around joints (like knees and elbows) prone to drying out in addition to often over-looked areas like cuticles and heels.

From our triple-milled bar soaps to our dense & rich liquid hand soaps and body washes, we made sure that all of our soaps are packed with powerful, natural skin-hydrators such as sweet almond oil, plant-based glycerin, and shea butter.
